ABOUT
Red Ash Records is a vinyl reissue label established by Australian's Jeb Taylor and Adam Hart. While the label is fresh, the founders have a long history across record labels, vinyl retail, publishing, artist management, catalogue management, filmmaking, photography, and music festivals.
At the core of Red Ash is a heavy focus on producing premium releases of obscure, highly
collectable, and hard to find albums from Australia and New Zealand, many of which have never been repressed since their initial release. Specialising in psychedelic, hard rock, acid-folk, jazz-funk, space and progressive rock from the 60's and 70's, Red Ash is committed to the preservation of the music and sounds that defined that era.
With deluxe packaging including well-researched and informative liner notes and inserts, faithful reproduction of original album artwork, and mastered from the original analog tapes, Red Ash is set to become the definitive label repressing some of Australia and New Zealand's most underground and influential albums.
Red Ash's goal is to not only continue releasing exceptionally high-quality products to a hungry and rapidly growing audience, but also to create strong and meaningful relationships with the humans behind the music as they receive the respect and attention their music deserves.
Alongside our own releases, we have a monthly We Dig feature, where we highlight a reissue from the era that we dig and make it available for sale right here. These are also primarily Australian and New Zealand releases from the 60's and 70's however, we'll occasionally venture into releases from other parts of the world that emerged with a similar vibe in the same era.
This is Red Ash.
